As I reflect on using Khan Academy, zoom and
phET simulations, I’m struck by how each tool
adds unique flavor to the learning experience.
Forinstance, like different ingredients in a recipe
that together, create something meaningful.
Khan Academy feels like a personal tutor who is

like madam to asses the three images I have uploaded in this summary. All three
images represent the use of ICT as an informative, communicative and situating
tool. To briefly explain, image A shows how zoom can be used as a communicative
tool in learning. With the help of this tool, learners can actively collaborate
from anywhere. Image B illustrates how YouTube channels like Khan Academy serve
as an informative tool enabling learners to catch up on concepts they may have
missed or not understood in class. Image C demonstrates the use of phET
simulations for science experiments, acting as a situating tool that provides
hands-on experience to help learners understand concepts more effectively.
